Solitaire has many variations but the most basic and well-known variety seems to be the type of solitaire where people use all of the cards and try to line up the suits. Bejeweled is a simple puzzle game made up of a grid of colored shapes or gems. This game is available on the Xbox consoles as well as mobile phones and is extremely popular. It is relatively easy to play but there are so many excellent players that it could be extremely difficult to get the top score in a competition. The aim is to keep generating scores by swapping gems in order to acquire at least three of the same gem in a row. These gems then disappear and the above gems fall into their place while new gems appear on top of these in order to keep the grid full. The rules vary from competition to competition. Some are based on the highest score within the time limit while others rely on who can keep clearing gems before being left with no available moves. The match can be live or simply ends when enough people have completed their turn at the game.
